Sorry he said it 3 years ago when he called the reset... it's playoff or OUT.
You don't need to sacrifice all your future to acquire better position player.
Look at the Fabbri addition in Detroit... or Louis Domingue as a second G...
or Gusev for a 2nd & 3rd... I am not asking for the homerun like Stone last February.. to Vegas for Lindberg, Brannstrom, 2nd (Habs type of player: Lehkonen, Mete, 2nd)
or Trouba for Pionk & 1st (20OA) (habs type: Chiarot, 1st 20+OA ( liuke Poehling, Juulsen, Sherback, McCarron, Beaulieu, Tinordi etc...)
I think you got my point... we can't stay still and hope for best... not in MTL</div></div>
Bro wtf you dont understand in a reset ? how can you justify behing out for the 4th time in the last 5 years ANSWER : RESET. Lehkonen >>> Lindberg Brannstrom >>>>>>>>> Mete MTL wont trade Romanov or Kotkaniemi for Mark Stone. Trouba didnt want to play anywhere exept New York or Detroit. Fabbri was a big guess, Domingue is sooo bad, nobody wants him. Just wait, MTL best prospect are at every position : C : Poehling Olofsson RW : Caufield Ylonen G : Primeau LHD : Romanov RHD : Brook, so maybe the player who can be traded are J.Olofsson and Jesse Ylonen, but again you want get a top player for those 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Eli</b></div><div>At the time, in sheltered minutes, Bowey looked okay for a recent 2nd round pick. On a less defensive team, his weaknesses are a lot easier to see. But at the time, I think everybody thought he was still worth the 2nd he had been picked with, so a perceived 2nd plus and upcoming 2nd. Right now it's a matter of age, term, defense, and offense. Jensen is about as good defensively as Petry, but doesn't have his skill with the puck. But there are two more years on the contract. To get the better player right now, I'm sure Washington adds, but I don't personally think it's a 1st pick apart. If MTL wants to pile up more 1sts for a home draft, they can add and get one, of course.</div></div>
Jensen is a 3rd pairing dman and Petry is a top3 dman, Petry is better than Jensen at everything exept on the PK maybe. Petry piles up a tons of minutes, 40+ points defenseman now with seize and fluide skater. It’s like sayin Lehkonen vs Huberdeau but a 1st is too much to add
