I was on this band wagon after season... I always thought J. Moore would fit the Pens system better bc he has speed and is good w/ getting puck out fast.

I’m all about it...I actually wanted Moore really bad in free agency before they signed JJ.

Jim Rutherford wanted to do everything possible to make sure Jack Johnson would be a member of the Penguins for many years to come.

We’re trying to extend Carlo and McAvoy as is and we’re still not able to do it. Why would we take Johnson’s contract??? 😂

There’s several ways to do clear cap...find someone to take Backes off of your hands and you’re off to a good start. Halak at $2.75M is prob a stretch too.

That’s the issue. Bruins have been trying to move Backes and so far nothing. But regardless of Backes, Bruins won’t want Johnson anyway... Bruins have way too many defenseman that deserve to be in the lineup. Guys like Carlo/McAvoy obv. Clifton, Krug, Grzelcyk, Miller. Bruins say no to this 100% of the time.
