I posted the wrong trade, I had a brain fart.
It was meant to be Risto for NIck and more.
I am changing it now.
Edit: done

So you fixed it and we have 6 RD, 4 of which at 4m+ and only two C.

He must be a Buffalo fan. This in no way helps the Pens.

They just spent most of the season with a strong need for an upgrade at 3C and was able to somehow pull Bjugstad out of Florida. They're not going to trade him now to slightly improve a position that they are already overloaded at.

This doesn't help Buffalo in the slightest

A quality 3C, a B+ prospect, and two mid-to-high round draft picks doesn't help Buffalo?

Its not an insulting offer. Its gotta be open to counter-offers though because retaining on ristolainen- who is probably best described as a 2nd pair rhd, doesnt make sense. It makes bjugstads (who i like, but reasonably is a 3rd line c) salary 5.4 for 2 years until he walks. The other pieces are just stuff that sorta evens out the value, but not really. Its better than some offers, but getting a tyler johnson out of tampa would look a lot better.

OK, fair! I saw a similar trade and wanted to re-post it to get more comments which I did, thank you. So in your mind, PIT does not need a RHD.

Actually Bjugstad is young, big and right handed. This may not be the return that a Sabre's fan would want, but Nick should produce well with Vesey and Johansson.

Thank you for your ideas. I thought of Johnson from Tampa initially because they are desperate for RHD and even sign Schenn, but then I looked at the players Botterill just added, both are over six foot, while Tyler is about 5'8". I would certainly want more for Ristolainen, and you said this is not a bad opening offer. With Nick on the second line playing with Vesey and Johansson, our second line would be 6'3"; 6'1" and 6'6",
